Make several prints by inscribing directly (can place your drawing underneath) into the surface of a perspex plate.
You will be shown a variety of other ways of making marks on the perspex and adding Chine Colle.
Learn different ways of inking and taking through press (using an X-cut Press) to transfer the image onto paper.
A drypoint needle is used to scratch an image onto a plastic plate. Ink is pushed into these marks and the surface can be inked as well before going through a small press.
You will need to bring:
Overall/Apron or wear old clothes
Coloured tissue/thin papers for Chine Colle - adding thin areas of colour.
Ideas / sketchbook - saves time later – I can help with interpreting your ideas into print so don’t worry about suitability.
