A One Day Linocut Workshop with Norfolk Artist and Printmaker, Sue Welfare

The day’s workshop will be informal and relaxed with lots of advice, support and hands-on guidance. We’re going to be working in black and white – although other colours will be available for you to print in.

We’ll be learning and developing a range of mark marking techniques and skills, to create light, shade, line and texture to explore our print ideas before creating a final piece.

All specialist materials and tools are provided although participants are asked to bring

some basic drawing equipment (pencil, eraser, ruler) and wear either old clothes or bring

along an old shirt or an apron to protect clothing. Printing is inevitably messy!
